Amphibian Lark makes its Mobile debut with two local performances this week.
The duo of Lydia LeVert and Simeon Coxe brings a sound reviewers have called cabaret with an edge. Coxe is known for his role in the pioneering electronic group Silver Apples.
Catch them Thursday, July 17 at 7 p.m. at the Mobile Museum of Art, and again Saturday, July 19 at 7 p.m. at The Vault at The Hive.
LeVert handles vocals and bass while Coxe contributes electronic grooves and rhythms, a departure from his earlier work with Silver Apples.
