A Foley man identified by authorities as Douglas Smith was arrested and charged after Baldwin County sheriff’s deputies say they seized several terabytes of alleged child pornography from his electronic devices.
According to authorities, the material was discovered during searches of Smith’s home and vehicle. Investigators have not released additional details about the specific charges filed or the status of the ongoing investigation. Smith, like all individuals accused of a crime, is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
