Foley police are continuing to investigate a two-vehicle crash over the weekend that left one driver hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded to the collision near the intersection of Fairway Drive and Miflin Road, a residential area on the city’s south side. Investigators have not yet released a cause for the crash and say the inquiry remains active.
According to police, one of the two vehicles involved was carrying a juvenile passenger who was not injured. The driver of that vehicle, a Foley resident, was transported to a hospital with injuries described as life-threatening. The driver of the second vehicle, also a Foley resident, was not hurt in the crash.

Foley police have not released the names of those involved or additional details about how the crash occurred. Investigators are expected to examine factors such as speed, right-of-way and roadway conditions at the intersection as part of the ongoing probe.
