A locally rooted crew operating under the initials H.C.I.C. — short for Head Crackers in Charge — has been quietly building its name around Mobile, and a recent video feature put faces and philosophy to the group.
The feature followed the crew’s members around the city and also caught up with Sherry Neese of Sherry Court, who appears alongside them in the piece.
In a statement shared on the group’s page, H.C.I.C. traces its identity to a code of family, unity and support for people who still fly the flag of individualism. The statement argues that rebellion has become an over-the-counter product marketed to the masses, while the group holds to values its members describe as tattooed on the soul rather than worn as fashion. Members say they discriminate based on nothing but moral fortitude and integrity, and describe their mission as fighting for people out-gunned by the struggles of the modern world.
The message, per the group: attitudes and perceptions may change with time, but the values of family, pride and integrity never will — not as long as there is an H.C. present to lend a hand.
