BAY MINETTE, Ala. — A man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal stabbing in Bay Minette Monday evening, according to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a report of a stabbing on Wash Branch Road Monday evening and found a man dead from multiple stab wounds, the sheriff’s office said.

The alleged attacker, identified as Lee Snider, was located and detained by deputies shortly after the discovery. Following an interview, Snider was charged with murder, according to the sheriff’s office.

The victim has not been publicly identified as next of kin are still being notified.

The charge against Snider is an accusation only, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains ongoing.
