Mobile Police are searching for a man accused of stabbing and strangling his girlfriend early Thursday morning inside the home they shared.
According to an MPD release, officers were called to University Hospital around 1 a.m. on October 13 after the woman arrived with stab wounds.
Investigators determined the boyfriend had stabbed her multiple times and strangled her, and that he prevented her from leaving their house during the attack. The woman managed to escape and get herself to the hospital.
The suspect had not been located as of the latest update, and police said the investigation remains active. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Mobile Police.
