The Mobile Witches Ride returns on Oct. 30, partnering with the Fairhope Witches Ride for a costumed, slaw-paced three-mile roll through Mobile and DeTonti Square. The home base is The Blind Mule, with registration open at mobilewitchesride.eventbrite.com.
The main event runs 3:30 to 7 p.m., ending with a block party featuring music, drinks and food from local food trucks and The Blind Mule. A $30 ticket includes the street party, an event T-shirt and one free beer; extra food and beverages are sold on site, and prizes go to the best-dressed witch and warlock.
The ride benefits Delta Dogs, a local nonprofit providing free spay, neuter and veterinary services to pets of Mobile residents in need. The event is 18 and up; families are welcome to watch and meet riders at the block party.
