Orange Beach Tennis Center Gets Resurfaced Courts, New Cabanas

The Orange Beach Tennis Center has a brighter, refreshed look after a recent resurfacing project. All eight courts received new paint and striping, and four new on-court cabanas were installed, giving local players an updated space to practice, compete and spend time outdoors.

The center’s eight lighted hard courts are open seven days a week, with daily operating hours from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Court lights shut off automatically at 10 p.m. The Tennis Center is part of the Orange Beach Recreation Campus and sits alongside the nearby Pickleball Complex, giving residents and visitors options to play both sports at the city’s recreation facilities.

Court access varies depending on which court a player chooses. Courts 1 and 8 are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with sessions generally limited to two hours when no other players are waiting; when others are waiting, players are asked to limit their time to 30 minutes so more people can use the courts. Courts 2 through 7 may be reserved exclusively by City of Orange Beach residents, who can schedule court time online through the CourtReserve website before arriving at the recreation campus.

City officials say the resurfacing, new paint and striping, along with the added cabanas, refresh a recreation site that remains available to the public throughout the week. Additional information about court access and the facility is available on the City of Orange Beach’s Tennis Center webpage, along with information about the neighboring Pickleball Complex.
