MOBILE, Ala. — South Alabama’s football staff added two more verbal commitments Monday, from Pensacola High School lineman Roy Albritton and Satsuma High School athlete Reid Rials, continuing a busy stretch of recruiting for the Jaguars.
Rials is South Alabama’s ninth commitment overall and the eighth in the past week. The run follows four verbal commitments the Jaguars received over the weekend.
Roy Albritton
Albritton, who is listed at 6-foot-2 and 315 pounds, drew the staff’s attention at a South Alabama camp last week, where he was timed at 4.9 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
He is not currently rated by the major recruiting services, which do not list other offers for him.
Reid Rials
Rials is the son of Satsuma High School head coach Scott Rials. He has played quarterback and free safety in high school and could be recruited as a wide receiver.
Rials measures 6-foot-1 and 181 pounds and has been clocked at 4.67 seconds in the 40-yard dash with a 34.6-inch vertical leap. He is unrated by the scouting services but holds offers from Southern Miss and Troy.
