AUBURN, Ala. — Redshirt senior Tyler Klava tied for ninth individually to lead South Alabama to a fourth-place team finish at the Auburn Tiger Invitational presented by Jason Dufner.
Klava’s Week
Klava finished the 54-hole tournament at 3-under-par, his lowest three-round total of the season by four strokes. The tie for ninth equaled his best finish of the season and gave him his second top-10 finish in his last three events.
Team Standings
Host Auburn won the team title at 25-under-par with a total of 839, finishing 22 strokes ahead of runner-up Troy. Georgia State placed third with an 873, and South Alabama was three strokes back in fourth at 876.
The South Alabama men’s golf team competes in the Sun Belt Conference.
