MOBILE, Ala. — South Alabama soccer freshman Charde Hannah was named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, continuing a run of weekly league honors for the Jaguars.
Hannah, a native of Tupelo, Mississippi, is the third South Alabama player to earn a Sun Belt weekly award this season. A week earlier, freshman Sophie Haywood and junior Nini Rabsatt-Smith swept the conference’s weekly honors.
Two Wins, Seven Points
Hannah totaled three goals and one assist for seven points as South Alabama went 2-0 for the week with victories over Mississippi State and Alabama A&M. She scored both of the Jaguars’ goals in the win over Mississippi State.
Among the National Leaders
Hannah ranks 16th in NCAA Division I in goals per match at 0.875 and 17th in points per match at 2.13. She leads the Sun Belt Conference in both categories.
