SouthSounds Music and Arts Festival returns to downtown Mobile on April 13-15, 2018, with one of the strongest lineups in the event’s history — more than 70 artists led by headliners Of Montreal, Corey Smith, J. Roddy Walston and the Business, Dumpstaphunk and Boyfriend.
A Bargain for Music Lovers
Early-bird three-day general admission wristbands are $25, while a Gold weekend pass for those who want to see Corey Smith at Soul Kitchen runs $45. VIP packages are $90 and include festival access, reserved viewing areas, food from local restaurants, beer, a T-shirt and a souvenir laminate; two VIP passes together are $150. Prices rise April 1.
Regional favorites such as Sweet Crude and local mainstays Underhill Family Orchestra round out a bill built around independent Southeastern musicians. The nonprofit event also includes cover-free admission to several downtown venues and clubs all weekend.

Festival organizer Gabe Fleet called SouthSounds a signature event for Downtown Mobile that brings music fans, industry tastemakers and emerging acts together in an intimate setting. The three-day pass effectively pays for itself by unlocking multiple venues, encouraging attendees to discover new musicians and support independent business.
