T.P. Crockmier’s turns its regular Thursday-night crowd toward a cause on October 9, hosting the T.P. Crockmier Reunion at 7 p.m. to benefit breast cancer awareness, with donations going to the Mitchell Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society.

Owner Bill Monahan says giving back fits a business that has grown up with Mobile. “There is such a history here with the people of Mobile, and I’m just a small part of it,” Monahan said.

Guests can expect the bar’s regular drink specials and a full kitchen service — and a staff with unusual staying power. “There is over 300 hundred years of experience in the kitchen,” Monahan said of the longtime crew.

Held at Crockmier’s current location on Dauphin Street, the reunion gives patrons a chance to support both a locally owned business and cancer care close to home; donations for breast cancer awareness will be collected throughout the evening.
