The Crowler Initiative: Fairhope Brewing Company Sends Beer To-Go

On June 1, Fairhope Brewing Company began offering crowlers – sealed, reusable cans filled fresh at the tap – giving Mobilians and Eastern Shore residents a new way to enjoy local beer to go. Mobile videographer Kris Skoda filmed an orientation video walking viewers through the process.

Supporting regional breweries

The crowler program lets the community support a regional brewery by choosing local when they choose to imbibe responsibly. Fairhope Brewing has become a fixture of the Eastern Shore’s growing craft-beverage scene, and the to-go option extends the experience beyond the taproom.

Skoda’s short film offered an informative look at what the brewery billed as the “hoppiest pastime in the world,” underscoring how Eastern Shore businesses continue to invest in creative ways to reach local customers.
