Daphne’s Union 10 FC has won the Gulf Coast Conference title for the first time in club history, capping a dominant season with a conference final victory over Pensacola FC.
The men’s first team finished its League for Clubs campaign at 11-1 without a single draw, closing the year on a 10-match winning streak. The conference final was decided on aggregate, with Union 10 taking a 1(4)–1(2) win over Pensacola FC. Striker Josh Bynoe led the attack all season, finishing as the league’s second-highest scorer with nine goals.
Regional championship coming to Daphne
The club now advances to the regional championship, scheduled for Saturday, July 19, at Village Park, 8501 Well Road, at the southwest corner of Al Trione Park in Daphne — where it will face FC Dallas U23.
To celebrate the title, Union 10 FC is launching a new concert series, Music in the Park: Vol. 1, at Village Park on Friday, July 18, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. The family-friendly evening features live sets from Red Gate Road and Matthew Morgan, a featured artist and club member, along with food trucks, concessions, a drinks station and a live auction. Tickets are $15 for adults while kids under 18 get in free, with proceeds supporting future programs and events at Village Park.
“This is more than a championship — it’s the beginning of something special,” said Union 10 Director of Coaching Gerardo Flores. “The energy around the club right now is electric.”
