PRICHARD, Ala. — The man serving as acting chief of the Prichard Fire Department has stepped down from that role, according to a City of Prichard spokesperson.
Acting Fire Chief David Hale Sr. has stepped down as chief but will remain with the Prichard Fire Department as district fire service chief. Prichard Mayor Jimmie Gardner has not yet named an interim chief.
