Baldwin County Forensics Foundation to Host Fundraiser Supporting Local Forensic Services
The Baldwin County Forensics Foundation will host a fundraiser Aug. 22 at Waters Barn in Robertsdale to support forensic training, equipment and education for local agencies.
The Baldwin County Forensics Foundation will hold a community fundraising event this weekend to raise money for forensic services, training and education aimed at strengthening the justice system and public safety across the county.
The event is set for Saturday, Aug. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Waters Barn, 23965 Fountain St. in Robertsdale.
Supporting Forensic Science Locally
The foundation's mission centers on advancing forensic science education, innovation and collaboration throughout Baldwin County. Forensic science plays a critical role in the justice system, helping investigators analyze evidence such as DNA, fingerprints and crime scene materials to build accurate, science-based cases. By investing in training and equipment, the foundation aims to give local law enforcement agencies better access to the tools they need to conduct timely, reliable investigations.
"Our goal is to enhance the forensic capabilities that support victims, families and the pursuit of justice," the organization said in a release announcing the event. "This event is an opportunity for our community to directly invest in those efforts."
Tickets, Dinner and Door Prizes
Tickets for Saturday's event are available online, with each ticket admitting two people and including a barbecue dinner. Attendees do not need to be present to win door prizes, which include a .22-caliber Henry lever-action rifle, a 110-quart hard cooler and a Bad Boy 750 Crew four-seat utility vehicle.
All proceeds from the event will go directly toward the foundation's work providing forensic resources, training and public education to strengthen the justice process in Baldwin County.
Sponsorship Opportunities
The foundation is also seeking sponsors for the event. A $1,500 sponsorship includes a reserved table with eight to 10 seats, a sponsor announcement during the program, social media recognition and the sponsor's name displayed on the foundation's website.
According to the foundation, sponsorship partnerships help advance forensic readiness, support crime victims and equip local agencies with tools that can aid investigations and improve community safety.
The Baldwin County Forensics Foundation is encouraging residents to attend the event, become a sponsor or help spread the word, noting that tickets, sponsorships and donations all contribute to its mission of advancing forensic services throughout the county.
