Baldwin County Seeks Public Input on Countywide Land Use Plan Update
Baldwin County will hold public meetings in Robertsdale, Fairhope and Foley as it begins updating its long-range land use plan.
BAY MINETTE, Ala. — The Baldwin County Commission’s Planning and Zoning Department, working with consultants from Design Workshop, will begin a countywide long-range land use plan process this month and will hold a series of public meetings, according to a county news release issued Thursday.
About the plan
The process will be used to update the county’s existing land use plan and applies only to zoned areas of the county. Land use plans are required by law in Baldwin County.
The meetings will continue discussions on quality of life, economic development, environmental protection and stewardship, and countywide visioning.

- Monday, Jan. 24, 5:30 to 7 p.m., Baldwin County Central Annex Auditorium, 22251 Palmer Street, Robertsdale
- Tuesday, Jan. 25, 10 to 11:30 a.m., Baldwin County Fairhope Satellite Courthouse Commission Chambers, 1100 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope
- Tuesday, Jan. 25, 5:30 to 7 p.m., Foley Civic Center, 407 E. Laurel Ave., Foley
How to participate
According to the county, the process will gather public input as Baldwin County plans for future growth. The county is asking residents to attend the meetings and complete an online survey. More information is available from the Baldwin County Planning Department.
