Chunchula Man, 73, Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Lott Road
ALEA says 73-year-old William W. Miller of Chunchula died after his motorcycle was struck by a pickup truck on Lott Road near Wilmer Georgetown Road.
MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. — A 73-year-old Chunchula man died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on Lott Road, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
State troopers said William W. Miller was riding his motorcycle along Lott Road near the Wilmer Georgetown Road intersection on Dec. 15 when the collision occurred. As Miller attempted a left turn, his bike was struck by a pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction.
Miller suffered critical injuries and was taken to Providence Hospital in Mobile, where he later died.
ALEA highway patrol troopers continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
