Daphne native and former University of Alabama star T.J. Yeldon visited the New England Patriots on Wednesday, according to Rotoworld.

Yeldon remained a free agent more than a month after the NFL signing period opened. The 25-year-old played his first four professional seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, rushing for 1,872 yards, catching 171 passes and scoring 12 touchdowns. The Jaguars have shown little interest in bringing him back.

New England already has running backs Sony Michel, James White and Rex Burkhead on its roster.
