PRICHARD, Ala. — Highpoint Park in Eight Mile is set for a big afternoon on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., “A Day of Unity & Fun in the Sun” takes over the grounds to mark a major milestone — celebrating the City of Prichard’s history spanning 1925 to 2026.

The free afternoon was organized by District 1 Councilwoman Annie Williams and the District 1 Unity Organization, and is built around neighborhood connection and community pride.

Attendees heading to 4328 Highpoint Blvd. can expect a full slate:
