The Pensacola Blue Wahoos invited job seekers to bring their resumes to Blue Wahoos Stadium on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, applying in person between 4 and 7 p.m. to join the club’s part-time staff for the upcoming season.

Framing the event as a chance to “make one of the nation’s top minor league stadiums your office,” the team pitched behind-the-scenes roles offering hands-on experience for candidates with skills and creativity in customer-service-driven departments throughout the ballpark.

On-the-Spot Interviews

Interested candidates needed to be available to work all 70 Blue Wahoos home games during the 2020 season. Interviews were conducted on-site during the fair, and applicants were told to come prepared, dress to impress and be ready to talk about their experience face-to-face with club staff.

Seasonal ballpark jobs have long been a gateway for students and hospitality workers across the Gulf Coast, and the Wahoos’ bayfront stadium — a fixture of downtown Pensacola’s waterfront — draws hundreds of seasonal hires each year to keep game nights running from concessions to operations.
