PENSACOLA, Fla. — A Pensacola daughter was injured in a struggle after her father drew a gun on her boyfriend, police said.

According to the Pensacola Police Department, the woman’s injuries came from a scuffle involving her, her father and her boyfriend. Investigators said the father pulled a gun on the boyfriend, and as the woman struggled to take it from him, her hand was injured. A shot was fired but struck the outside of the house rather than anyone inside.

The update clarified details of an incident first reported as a shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
