The City of Prichard has opened applications for its Prichard Thrive Small Business Grant Program, a new effort to funnel direct financial assistance to local business owners still working to recover from the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic.
City officials announced that applications are being accepted as of Sunday, October 17. The program targets Prichard’s small businesses, which were among the hardest-hit operations during repeated public health restrictions and slowdowns over the past year and a half.
Business owners in the city who believe they qualify can apply through the program named Prichard Thrive, which city leaders have framed as a recovery tool rather than a routine subsidy. Additional details about eligibility and award amounts are available through City of Prichard offices.
