South Alabama’s Senior Bowl History
Three South Alabama players have been invited to the Senior Bowl in the program’s first five seasons. Courtney Smith became the first Jaguar selected when he played in the 2011 game. Linebacker Jake Johnson and safety B.J. Scott were both chosen for the 2013 game, though Johnson was unable to play after being injured during the week of practice.
South Alabama, coached by Joey Jones, is preparing for its sixth season of football and its third as a full member of the Sun Belt Conference.
