MOBILE, Ala. — Brandi Smith scored with 1:03 left in the first overtime period to give South Alabama soccer a 1-0 win over Jacksonville at The Cage.
The victory snapped a four-match losing streak and was the Jaguars’ first home win of the season. South Alabama improved to 2-4-0.
Breakaway Winner
Smith took a pass from Liz Clark, broke in alone up the left side of the penalty area and finished for the game’s only goal. It was her second goal of the season.
