The South Alabama soccer team opened its 2026 season on the road Wednesday, facing Mississippi State at 6 p.m. at the MSU Soccer Field in Starkville, Mississippi, according to a University of South Alabama release.
South Alabama enters the matchup with a 5-11-3 all-time record against Mississippi State, having lost their most recent meeting 4-2 on Sept. 7, 2025. The Jaguars have dropped their last two matches against the Bulldogs.
