It is a good weekend to be a gearhead on either side of Mobile Bay, with a pair of free car shows running Saturday.
In downtown Mobile, this year’s Festival of Flowers adds an exotic car show component, set for 9 to 11 Saturday morning in Cathedral Square.
Across the bay in Bay Minette, the Gear Jammers Club of Baldwin County hosts its own show at the William F. Green State Veterans Home from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., putting classic metal on display for residents and visitors alike.
Both events are free to attend.
