GRAND BAY, Ala. — A vehicle belonging to a missing 19-year-old from Louisiana has been discovered in far-west Mobile County, and authorities are asking the public’s help locating the young man.
The Ponchatoula, La., Police Department said Noah Daigle was last seen September 18 leaving his home in a white 2001 Cadillac Eldorado. The car was located Sunday night on eastbound Interstate 10 near the Alabama-Mississippi state line — out of gas, according to police.
Reward Offered, Search Area Narrowed
Investigators said Daigle may have been staying within roughly a five-mile radius of the Grand Bay exit (Exit 4) on I-10, and noted that a Hardee’s restaurant at the interstate exit had fed him in recent days. Ponchatoula police offered a $1,000 reward for information on his whereabouts.
By late afternoon, police said they had called off their own search, though independent search-and-rescue teams — including the group Geaux Rescue — continued looking for him.
Daigle was described by police as having low-cut brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds; he was reportedly wearing blue jean shorts and a black t-shirt when he was last seen.
