Okaloosa County investigators asked the public’s help in July 2021 to locate a 19-year-old they wanted to question about a fatal shooting months earlier near Fort Walton Beach.
According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies sought John William Galvao-Sahb in connection with the March 17 shooting death of 48-year-old Earnest Riggs. Riggs was shot while inside a rental work truck that was parked in the street at Capri Commons Mobile Home Park at about 7 p.m.
Sheriff’s officials did not say whether Galvao-Sahb was considered a suspect, describing him only as someone they wanted to locate and speak with about the case.
